AP Chemistry Laboratory
In addition to passing the AP exam, colleges may require evidence of successful completion of the lab portion of AP Chemistry. Students are to document each experiment in a laboratory notebook. In lieu of transcribing each experimental procedure, students may simply reference the procedures and keep copies of same for review by college admissions officials.
Pre-Labs are due BEFORE the experiment date.Post-Labs are due the next school day AFTER completion of the experiment.Note: Future dates are tentative and subject to change.

** Guided Inquiry Lab - Instead of Pre-Lab and Post-Lab assignments, guided-inquiry labs require students to write a step-by-step experimental procedure and formal documentation of results. Although students have the choice of format for each guided-inquiry lab, all students are to submit at least one formal lab report, one PowerPoint presentation, and one Poster presentation.
