I was recently informed by the National Science Foundation that I have been nominated by "Anonymous" for the
Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST), one of the nation's highest honors for teachers. The PAEMST is granted to just two teachers from each state each year. The award is in recognition of those teachers who have "both deep content knowledge of the subjects they teach and the ability to motivate and enable students to be successful in those areas." (PAEMST).
The award includes a $10,000 grant and a trip to Washington, D.C. to meet with members of Congress and the White House Office of Science and Technology.

Just for the record, I love my Tesla. Even without mentioning the environmental benefits, it is a fantastic car! It is incredibly fast and smooth as silk. It is like a cross between a roller coaster and a magic carpet. Plus it is a very good looking car.
